DENVER – Aug. 14, 2025 – Titan CEO and headline sponsor RMG Erectors and Constructors, LLC is pleased to announce Todd Smith – chief communications officer of WastAway – as an Inaugural 2025 Nashville Titan 100. The Titan 100 program recognizes Nashville’s Top 100 CEOs & C-level executives. They are the area’s most accomplished business leaders in their industry. This year’s Titan 100 embody the true diversity of Nashville’s business landscape. Representing hospital & health care, financial services, technology, information technology & services, real estate, and non-profit organizations, among others.

“The inaugural class of Nashville Titan 100 honorees are setting the tone for what it means to lead with vision, purpose, and integrity,” says Jaime Zawmon, president of Titan CEO. “They are redefining business across the region: driving innovation, uplifting communities, and inspiring transformation in every industry they touch. We are proud to honor their legacy of excellence and celebrate the impact they’re making now and for the future.”

Smith leads branding, marketing and PR at WastAway, which is poised for explosive growth in the coming years. Construction on two major waste-to-fuel plants is in the planning stages. One in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, that will divert 85% of the city’s trash from the Middle Point Landfill in an industrial area of the city’s south side. The second is in Kern County California near Bakersfield. It too will divert 85% of the waste processed into renewable fuel and other beneficial products. These plants will cost an estimated $210 million to build – and will process 400 tons of MSW a day each.

“I am honored to be recognized along with other visionary leaders and innovators across Middle Tennessee as part of the inaugural 2025 Nashville Titan 100 class,” Smith said. “I look forward to advancing business, entrepreneurship and growth throughout the region.”

Smith will be honored at the inaugural Titan 100 awards celebration on Nov. 13th, 2025, held at Marathon Music Works downtown. This elegant, cocktail-style awards event will unite 100 Titans of Industry for an unforgettable evening of celebration, camaraderie, and networking – an evening unlike anything that exists in the Nashville business community.
